Our host (HOSTPOINT), by contrast, stores data in so-called log files so that we can provide you with our websites reliably and in compliance with the law. These logfiles contain information such as: • IP address (in anonymised form) • Date and time • Protocol information such as the protocol type, the protocol version, the desired   action, status codes or information about the transferred data (e.g. the size of a   question or an answer) • Fault reports • Quantity of data sent • Page from which you reached our website • Deployed browser • Operating system utilised The data will not be passed on or used in any other way. We reserve the right, however, to check the server log files subsequently if there are specific indications of illegal use. The data will remain on the hosting systems until this is no longer needed for operational purposes and the expiry of the legally-stipulated deadlines, and will then be erased automatically. In the case of most data, this amounts to a maximum period of six months. Web analysis: Our host HOSTPOINT uses the statistics program “Logaholic” that can supply information about website visits and graphic reports. 2. Cookies: We do not use any cookies on our website.
